I come to this work through a long devotion to healing, listening, and relationship. For more than 25 years, I’ve walked alongside individuals and communities in integrative and shamanic healing spaces, guided by wisdom traditions and earth-based practices from the Amazon and the Himalayas. My work has brought me into close relationship with Indigenous communities in North and South America and Tibet, shaping a practice rooted in deep reverence for the Earth and our innate capacity to heal through connection—with ourselves, one another, and the natural world. In 2009, I began working in the Amazon as a student and collaborator of Grandmother Maria Alice Campos Freire, deepening my immersion in traditional Amazonian healing practices and incorporating Amazonian flower essences (Florais da Amazônia) into my work to support emotional balance and spiritual integration. I have supported and facilitated healing ceremonies, women’s sweat lodges, circles, and retreats across diverse cultural lineages. My practice is also informed by my training in Compassionate Inquiry, developed by Dr. Gabor Maté. I weave somatic psychotherapy, energy healing, and spiritual care into a relational, intuitive approach, meeting each person with presence, curiosity, and compassion, and supporting them in reconnecting with their inner wisdom. Alongside my healing work, I bring over 30 years of experience as a nonprofit strategist and fundraiser. In 2009, I founded the Floresta Project to support Amazonian Indigenous communities through the preservation of traditional healing practices, medicinal gardens, and plant-based research—continuing my commitment to building respectful, living bridges between worlds.
